ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Manage and analyze guest satisfaction, service quality, sales, costs, quality and presentation of food and beverage products, service standards, condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain the highest levels of guest service and develop a relationship with both hotel guests and local clientele, meeting and greeting guests in the Restaurant, and handling guest complaints in an efficient and enjoyable manner.
- Carry out periodic maintenance checks in restaurants to continually maintain or improve physical properties.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events.
- Lead the training and education session for all team members.
- Order and inventory beer, wine, spirits, and restaurant supplies.
- Work with the General Manager to create a departmental budget, and then monitor and maintain the cost of food and beverages in line with budget and forecast projections.
- Maintain awareness of food and beverage trends, systems, practices, and equipment through trade literature, hotel shows, site visits, and monitoring of local competitors to benchmark their performance against those of local & international competitors.
- Develop objectives, strategies, procedures and policies regarding food and beverages, including offering great value to guests in their beverage experience.
- Work as an active member of the management team. Create professional relationships and actively participate in all hotel operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
- Graduate or diploma in Hotel Management, Food and Beverage, or a related field.
- Five or more years of operating experience in a similar position in a high-end restaurant group or in the Food and Beverage department of a luxury hotel.
- Experience in complying with health and safety regulations.
- Experience in performing administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, and project management.
- Ability to communicate successfully with clients, management, and co-workers in english & spanish
