**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
This role is part of Procure to Procure (P2P) service line.
The role is responsible for managing the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of service delivery to the internal and external stakeholders of US Reynolds, as well as maintaining good governance and a robust control environment (with an appropriate balance between risk and controls) for the Procure to Procure (P2P) service line.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Promote the standardisation, automation and simplification of processes that fall within or are on the boundaries of the Accounts Payable (AP)/Travel & Expenses (T&E)/Banking Op’s.
- Lead the AP/T&E /Banking Ops team to deliver the efficient and effective processing of invoices and expense claims within a controlled environment and in line with the SLA established for each activity, alongside adherence to the applicable relevant tax regime and within any voluntary codes of standard process BAT has signed up for. Management reporting on all AP/T&E activities.
- Maintain the integrity of AP ledgers. Ensure that SAP AP and T&E reports are reconciled to ledger balances and all designated accounts (as assigned by the General Ledger team) are under control and movements explained.
- Play an active role in ensuring that GBS is aligned with Global GBS strategy.
- Participate in strategic planning together with the Head of Accounting, Business Optimization Team to develop strategic and operational plans and goals for the teams.
- Monitor and lead operational performance in line with set KPIs.
- Ensure a controlled environment for the AP/T&E/Banking Ops Team to prevent any potential erroneous or deliberate misdirection of funds.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the role or related positions
- Proficient English (spoken and written), business level;
- Intermediate - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Essential SAP knowledge
- Qualified professional with experience and a strong base in financial accounting.
- Individual with a strong understanding of the collaboration with other departments and how their work impacts on the sub ledgers. As well as knowledge of company controls, procedures, and Group policies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
