Huntsman’s GBS team is searching for an SAP Business Process Owner (BPO) for our growing business based out of Heredia.

This role is not only central to the standardization and optimization of our SAP platforms but also a key business partner for improving Huntsman’s R2R (Record to Report) process within our GBS organization.

We currently have GBS teams in Kuala Lumpur, Costa Rica, Krakow Poland, and the US. This is an exciting opportunity to not only collaborate with our regional teams, but also plug into Huntsman’s established Continuous Improvement and Automation network to help drive change, improve efficiency, deliver process improvements, and eliminate manual tasks through automation.

In summary, as the SAP Business Process Owner (BPO), you will:
Process Improvement:

- Analyze and document the current as is business processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to design and implement new processes that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Standardize processes across all SAP R2R domains.
- Develop data quality standards, monitor data quality, and collaborate with other stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with IT on the integration between SAP and the BW/HANA data warehouse for reporting initiatives.
- Serve as the SAP R2R SME for Huntsman’s planned migration to SAP 4 HANA.
- Support the R2R GPO on improvement initiatives.

Testing and Validation:

- Ensure that SAP systems are working correctly, and business processes are functioning as expected. Test system configurations and validate data to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Monitor the performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of specific core business processes.

User Training and Support:

- Provide user training and support to enable key-users to use SAP systems efficiently and train other employees. Create training materials, organize training sessions, and provide second-line support.
- Serve as the process expert for the support team and end users.

Compliance:

- Ensure that business processes and SAP systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and monitor processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science 4+ years’ experience
- Relevant experience in SAP ECC or SAP S4 HANA administrator / BPO, Costing in a Manufacturing setting.

Specific Skills and Knowledge
- SAP ECC and/or S4 HANA BPO experience
- Project and Change management experience
- Understanding or Exposure to Costing for a manufacturing company

- Diverse technical skill set with a preference towards ERP systems, SAP Hana, Informatica, and IBM Products
