**Your tasks**:

- The purchasing department is responsible for buying Bill of Materials (BOM) components(mainly piece parts) based on the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) demand coming from SAP-ER. Materials required for our organization as well as services, tools and production equipment are part of our purchasing portfolio. We are in charge of managing external processes like plating, heat treatment and cable jacking. Having a close collaboration and monitoring the on-time delivery schedule of our suppliers is also a very essential task.The Buyer reviews, evaluates and follow best practices in purchasing activities for materials, supplies, services and equipment. Reads and interprets technical specifications and drawings. Solicit bids, evaluates quotations, correspond with vendors and stakeholders to obtain best pricing and lead times. Maintains relationships with internal customers and vendors along with regularly monitoring supplier performance.**Your profile**:

- Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or production planning role
- Skills/Knowledge:

- Intermediate SAP knowledge
- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel
- Ability to handle change effectively
- Ability to prioritize and plan
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Personal Qualifications:

- Customer focus and an ability to manage customers and peers with tact and diplomacy
- Demonstrates ownership and responsibility at a high level
