This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

The support and development of HPE GreenLake Core Metering Services requires the ability to develop, troubleshoot and modify existing deployed scripts using Microsoft PowerShell at the OS, CI and API levels that provide the ability to collect and transmit usage data across a variety of server, storage, solution and network platforms based on a variety of Units of Measure.
Additionally this resource will be required to create documentation in support of the tools and implementation requirements. Which include Change Request and User Stories

**In a typical day as a Sr. Greenlake Script Developer you would**:

- Become technical SME for tools and scripting methodologies used to capture consumption data across all Routes to Market.
- Supports Integrated Delivery Readiness teams in the development of scripts and delivery readiness.
- Define and documents technical requirements and specifications within Business Requirements, User Stories and other formats
- Influence prioritization
- Suppor the HPE Edge to Cloud vision by Maintaining tools functionality in support of the as a Service pivot.
- Support newly introduced products, technologies, and units of measure to be incorporated into existing Greenlake Services
- Collaborate and takes direction from other SME’s in support of metering deliverables
- Clearly communicate status, issues and constraints with appropriate stakeholders
- Addresses capability gaps with quality manual processes when necessary, while planning for future automation
- Ensures awareness and alignment to Brooklyn Service Lifecycle Process in relation to NPI, NSI and ASI
- Contribute to field communications, newsletters and end user training
- Works within global and regional teams to represent HPE PointNext Service Delivery Metering strategies
- Contribute to go forward data collection and distribution models in support of as a Service offerings

- Typically 8+ years to establish proven track record in Software Development.
- Basic experience in one of the related disciplines of software development.
- Low to Medium knowledge of Information Technology (IT) within the Enterprise/Corporate sector
- Knowledge of company organization and policies
- Knowledge of HPE PointNext proactive and solution portfolio offerings, specifically HPE GreenLake
- High level understanding of tools used in support of Greenlake consumption offers
- Proven capability to create and test MS Powershell / Perl scripts to a high standard in support of HPE GreenLake consumption metering requirements; experience with REST API / JSON calls - DESIRED
- A track record of involvement in software development and projects driving process improvements and increased efficiencies.
- Proven ability to contribute within virtual and cross functional teams to achieve results, exercising independent judgment and able to handle unique situations to accomplish goals within tight time frames
- Good level of planning and change management skills.
