UX/UI Design Specialist

Our Product Design team is seeking a UX/UI Designer to help develop customer-centric experiences for our portals and apps. This is the perfect role for a curious & imagination-driven designer who’s adept at creating - and continuously improving - digital experiences.

**YOUR FOOTPRINT AT DWELLWORKS**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Designing and refining intuitive & logical user interfaces for sites, portals and apps.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to help gather business requirements
- Creating and designing deliverables (wireframes, mockups, user flows, etc)
- Presenting your ideas & concepts for discussion, and using those inputs to develop alternative options
- Coordinating the hand-off of design assets to front-end / back-end developers
- Working effectively with stakeholders throughout the global organization
- Preparing and adapting visual demos for sales meetings (e.g. XD click-throughs)
- Continuously developing your own skills under the direct mentorship of senior designers

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

**_ Your Experience & Education (required)_**
- Design portfolio that demonstrates strong understanding of UI/UX design
- 1-3 years of experience (but recent grads with a strong online portfolio will be considered)
- A flexible mindset
- Experience working collaboratively with developers
- Self-starter mentality, ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially XD
- Comfortable demonstrating and presenting your designs via video conference/meeting
- Well-organized file management skills
- Working knowledge of WCAG compliance
- Bonus: Knowledge of app design & submission

- Works effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
- Manages work assignments to meet deadlines
