Primary Duties:

- Leads payroll operations, ensuring all payroll related processes, procedures and functions and monitors developments to ensure tax and regulatory compliance, reporting and analytics are met in each country
- Review and approve quarterly filings, adjustments, and reports to internal and external teams
- Provide leadership, planning, project coordination and management of HR Operations and Payroll while facilitating effective and efficient operations to meet current and future people and business needs of the organization.
- Build and lead the team responsible for operationally delivering an exceptional employee experience
- on-boarding, resolving employee inquiries ,troubleshooting and resolving issues, processing transactions, improving processes and delivering data.
- Management of payroll third-party vendors
- Collaborate internally with other HR functions and departments such as Finance and Legal to enable a globally agile workforce
- Drive projects for LATAM HR-related M&A matters, from pre-close due diligence through post-close
- LATAM partner and key point of contact with the M&A and IMO teams and in other functions such as HR, tax, finance & legal to ensure critical activities are executed timely and successfully.

**Education and Years of Experience**:

- 8+ years of experience with a strong payroll background with extensive experience in leading global payroll operations/ consulting / payroll transformation (across LATAM) and experience of vendor implementation and transition management.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese required.
- Experience with payroll systems with Immedis and Softland preferred
- Experience with human capital management systems with UKG preferred
- High level of knowledge of end-to-end multi-country Latin American region payroll process lifecycle and related policies, regulatory and compliance requirements across the region.
- Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands
- Proven people management skills for onsite and remote teams
- Proven record of effectively communicating with and influencing at all levels.
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems where analysis requires the in-depth evaluation of numerous factors
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on and delve deep into the processes
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
