Job Summary:

Energize your career as an Electrical Drafter with Emerson, where you will be part of the esteemed Electrical and Instrumentation Group. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with E&I Engineers/Designers to develop detailed electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation drawings based on specifications, calculations, and provided information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Electrical and Instrumentation Group in creating 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Designs
  • Create layout drawings and develop designs from sketches, redlines, design specifications, or other information provided
  • Collaborate with senior drafters and engineers to create and modify electrical one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, cable block diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, assembly drawings, cabinet drawings, instrument loop diagrams, and instrument location plans

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Technical Drafting, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field
  • Team player approach to project execution
  • Able to multitask between projects and tasks
  • Action-oriented individual with excellent customer focus and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good English reading skills and AutoCAD 2D skills are essential; knowledge of 3D CAD tools is preferred
