Senior Semiconductor Test Engineer for IDM2.0 Strategy

At Intel, our manufacturing network is the backbone of our IDM2.0 strategy. The ATM (Assembly and Test Manufacturing) division plays a critical role in this effort, delivering advanced packages to drive product competitiveness. As a key member of the ATM Test department, you will work with global teams to support the product roadmap and serve as an interface between business units and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deploy test programs across the ATM network, ensuring seamless execution and validation.
- Establish factory systems based on technology, process, and product milestones, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with factory engineer teams to support technology certification and product ramp in High Volume Manufacturing.
- Proactively execute BU product roadmaps, improving testing processes for key performance indicators such as safety, quality, cost, yield, and retest rate.
- Pursue continuous improvement of testing processes, working closely with ATTD and BU as required.
- Stay at the forefront of new developments in ATM, incorporating innovations such as automation, AI, and big data.
- Address manufacturability and productivity issues, driving solutions that benefit the organization.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills to resolve electrical test-related problems, focusing on quality, tool, and cost improvements.
- Cultivate effective communication across organizational boundaries, conveying complex concepts and strategic initiatives through written and verbal channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering field, complemented by 3+ years of semiconductor testing experience.
- Minimum 6 months of applied testing experience in areas like product development, NPI activities, trouble-shooting, and interpreting product data.
- Familiarity with electrical test methods, templates, and BI/Class/OLx/PPV test program structures.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong programming or test equipment skills.
