Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software solutions using best practices and cutting-edge methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications with expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement software solutions.
- Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs with Node.js and Express for production software.
- Work closely with database management experts to optimize relational and NoSQL databases for scale.
- Maintain and optimize deployment pipelines using AWS services, IaC, and CI/CD tools.
- Develop and maintain complex software systems with expertise in workflow orchestration, technical design, and ETL tools.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Advanced English language skills.
- 9+ years of professional experience as an engineer shipping production software.
- Up-to-date knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and relevant technologies.
- Expertise in workflow orchestration, technical design, and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with database management, schema design, and query optimization.
- Experience working with teams of 10-50 people and delivering complex projects.
- Enterprise experience and understanding of good testing practices.
