Your contribution will enable the US market to maintain compliance with the MAPP policy, ensuring that medical, scientific, and philanthropic initiatives are conducted with integrity and transparency.

What You Will Achieve

As a key member of the Pfizer team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our interactions with healthcare professionals, medical associations, and other business parties are conducted in accordance with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Ensure compliance with MAPP policy, Country Annexes, Country Profiles, and other relevant policies.
  • Document all information in MAPP Navigator/Engagement+, Ariba, Aravo, Reltio, and other necessary systems.
  • Verify payment information is accurately documented in MAPP Navigator/Engagement+, Ariba BOD, and other required systems.
  • Ensure proper contracting documentation and accurate fair market value (per applicable FMV calculator) meet all requirements.
  • Coordinate with markets to confirm engagements, invoices, and payments.
  • Monitor and resolve payment issues, and register payments in MAPP Navigator/Engagement+ within expected times.
  • Support market colleagues with payment-related inquiries.
  • Liaise with Legal and Local Compliance to address exceptions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Create training materials and complete transaction status reports.
  • Ensure thorough E2E process completion and participate in team activities.

  • Able to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced change environment
  • Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
  • High level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility with a 'can-do' attitude

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous MAPP experience
  • FCPA terms understanding
  • Compliance controls understanding
  • Ariba knowledge (to create payments)
  • MDGS knowledge (to read vendor master data)
  • SAP knowledge (to investigate failed payments)

Although this position offers flexible work arrangements, it is required for the selected colleague to reside in Costa Rica to perform the job. Relocation is not offered, and related expenses are not covered for this position.
