\The Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting local Amazon events at key corporate offices. Reporting to the Assistant Events Manager, this individual works closely with internal vendors and stakeholders to facilitate event execution.
\This dynamic position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating resources, ensuring event spaces are clean, set, and ready for events. They also participate in event-related projects, documenting trends, identifying process efficiencies, and improving policies and procedures related to internal events and spaces.
\Key Responsibilities

- Process event requests and communicate with Amazon customers\
- Troubleshoot during high-impact events to ensure successful operations\
- Organize and compile event data metrics\
- Create and maintain standardized event documents\
- Respond to customer feedback and create updates to track metrics, clarify procedures, provide information, and organize team tasks\
- Support and maintain good inter-vendor communications between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial, and Engineering as requested\
- Other duties assigned by the Events Program Manager\
Essential Qualifications
\- \
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities\
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills\
- Advanced competence with software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs\
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in event coordination or administrative support preferred\
- Microsoft Visio or CAD experience a plus\
- High level of accuracy and attention to details\
- Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
- Able to work independently with minimal direction\
