**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced IT General Controls Lead to join our team at Experian. As a key member of our Group Risk Controls Team, you will play a critical role in driving our risk and control maturity.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, controls, or audit, with experience in transformational projects or a global organization. They will also possess excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change and implement new processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain ITGC governance processes for controls, focusing on control objective definition, control design, and associated oversight and QA processes.
  • Partner with business units and control owners to understand our control environment, support documentation, and identify control weaknesses or gaps.
  • Implement controls for in-scope business units across regions, ensuring timely completion based on agreed prioritization outcomes.
  • Support policy owners in articulating control objectives.
  • Implement quality assurance processes for controls to validate that documented control objectives and activities comply with defined governance processes and are recorded in Archer GRC.
  • Counsel and support policy, risk, and control owners across 1LOD and other 2LOD functions to ensure adherence to control frameworks and governance.

**Requirements**

  • 6-10 years of experience in a risk management, controls, or audit role, with at least 2-3 years in transformational projects or a global organization.
  • Tier 1-2 consulting experience, preferably in a technology or similar company.
  • A good understanding of best practice risk and control frameworks, with a specific focus on IT General Controls within an ICFR framework.
  • Experience with Finance systems and familiarity with key financial accounting processes.
  • Experience in control design and testing, internal audit, risk management, information security, finance, or operational management roles.
  • Risk transformation and controls implementation experience would be beneficial.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and successfully deliver a change agenda.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to formulate insights around complex business problems for senior audiences.
