Job Description
We are looking for someone who has knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for triaging issues or bugs to root cause the failing component, preparing systems by assembling the required hardware, flashing FW, installing OS, and connecting debugger. They will also work closely with the Customer team in achieving deliverables, publish daily and weekly status reports, and write defect reports for the issues detected.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of PC Platform and mother board architecture.
- Knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client system.
- Understanding of bug life cycle and any bug management tool like Jira, HSD, etc.
- Manual and/or automation testing experience or understanding of Platform testing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in using debug tools like WinDbg.
- Able to understand platform features and execute test cases.
- Able to understand, articulate, and isolate the issues observed during test execution.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams.
- Good to have Skills:
- Experience in debug with Intel platform designs.
- Experience in using Intel ITP or LTB.
