Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will identify technical solutions to enable customer workflows and integrate customer systems with our cloud-based Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on their integration development work.
- Craft well-documented, reusable, and testable code.
- Demonstrate solutions to customers and process feedback.
- Provide technical expertise on project definition, scope, and delivery estimates.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of core software engineering, system design, and integration. You should also be able to quickly learn new technology frameworks and build solutions using them.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in software development with Java/Python.
• Experience designing solutions that follow best practices for security, maintainability, scalability, and performance in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Experience with Linux and Windows platforms.
Desirable Skills
• Experience architecting solutions.
• Experience defining Docker containers.
• Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Some experience with NodeJS or C#.
