Citi's Internal Audit (IA) function seeks a senior-level management professional to contribute to its strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management and audit leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple teams of professionals, overseeing audit activities, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive regulatory and internal audit issue validation. They will also support the IA Transformation Program and drive the IA's efforts to meet or exceed expectations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve the identification, measurement, management, reporting, and controls in governance, risk, and control environments. You will work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) function to resolve issues and improve audit processes and coverage.
As the designated Legal Entity Chief Audit Executive, you will oversee the development of the annual Audit Plan, present it for approval, and provide periodic reports to the legal entity Audit Committees and senior management.
To be successful in this role, you will need 15+ years of experience in a related field, related certifications, and demonstrated success in business, functional, and people management. You must also have effective negotiation skills and consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
