We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food products. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and recipes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of safety and quality, and that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to maintain these standards.
- Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in leading kitchen operations and developing high-performing teams.
- Culinary Skills: A strong background in classical cuisine, with expertise in menu development, food presentation, and kitchen operations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
