Corrections Advisor Opportunity

ATSG Corporation is seeking a seasoned Corrections Advisor to enhance our partnership with the U.S. Department of State on the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing expert assistance to the government on police professionalization, justice sector reform, and counter narcotics efforts.

Key Responsibilities

The Corrections Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development of effective corrections policies and programs
  • Providing technical assistance to government agencies on corrections reform
  • Collaborating with international partners to advance justice sector reform
  • Conducting research and analysis on best practices in corrections and justice sector reform
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminal justice or social sciences
  • At least three years of experience in corrections or a related field
  • MRPT certification or RSO clearance for foreign nationals
  • FSI level 3/3 Spanish and English language proficiency
