Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Compliance Specialist is a key member of our diverse team, responsible for managing risk and compliance in the IT space. This role works interactively with our business units, managing access to 12 Cornerstone applications, troubleshooting access issues, and remediating conflicts. The Compliance Specialist will contribute to compliance with SOX and internal IT policies, including running reports, organizing evidence, and providing quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Provisioning and deprovisioning access to Cornerstone applications
- Adhering to Cornerstone internal standards, policies, and procedures
- Working with managers to ensure deliverable schedules are met
- Actioning change management tasks
- Monitoring IT controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Facilitating compliance with internal control standards
- Working with security and operational teams to address issues and concerns
- Preparing summaries of review results and communicating effectively
- Managing remediation steps for identified control deficiencies
- Contributing to Cornerstone's overall compliance strategy
Requirements:
- 2 years of Oracle or JDE functional knowledge
- Experience with creating SQL queries
- Advanced English language proficiency
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Professional working English
- Excel proficiency
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration
- Self-starter with flexibility and organization
- Must model Cornerstone's core values and leadership behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (IT)
- Relevant Risk and Compliance experience (1-2 years)
