We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Strategy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting America End market in their queries and strengthening the control environment.
The ideal candidate will have great analytical skills, be able to challenge the status quo, and possess a thorough understanding of core controllership processes. They will also have excellent organization and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
In this role, you will lead the team to develop new initiatives across the P&R function for the America Market. You will combine good accounting knowledge with communication skills and solid forecast and planning knowledge. The role requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review financial statements for actual/planning reporting and review and approve weekly/monthly reports.
- Coordinate Bi-Annual forecast planning cycles and financial reviews and coordinate Bi-Annual /half year/full year reporting cycles and financial reviews.
- Monitor performance and sensitivities on a monthly basis across all P&L lines for actuals, budget, latest forecasts and prior years for every end market.
- Review and provide accurate and timely monthly variance data and root cause analysis for volume, revenue and cost of sales.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as required and engage with different stakeholders.
- Promote standardization, automation and simplification of processes which fall within the boundaries of the Planning & Reporting area.
- Ensure a controlled environment for the Planning & Reporting Team to prevent any potential control breaches.
