About Citi's Know Your Client Program
Citi's Know Your Client (KYC) program aims to ensure that the company understands its customers and their financial activities. This program plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our business operations and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. The Senior KYC Manager will be responsible for leading a team to develop and implement this program, providing strategic direction, and developing all aspects of the KYC control environment.

**Key Responsibilities include:**
- Representing the Know Your Client (KYC) team in various forums, both internally and externally, to provide transparency on initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Leading regional KYC initiatives in support of Markets for LATAM
- Overseeing a team of 40+ employees at a KYC operations site in Costa Rica
- Collaborating with the Global KYC management team to develop strategic direction and improve the KYC control environment
- Ensuring proper governance of tasks and processes in accordance with internal policies and external regulations
- Partnering with Compliance, the business, and KYC teams globally to interpret and implement new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and manage their impact on the control environment
- Developing project plans and ongoing KYC training plans to enhance knowledge and skills among employees
- Assessing and managing changes to the KYC control environment through process, policy, and technology changes
- Driving continuous improvements in data quality, control reporting, and associated metrics to increase global consistency

Requirements for Success:
- At least 10 years of experience in a relevant field
- Proven experience in managing operations teams, with a minimum of 5 years in this capacity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business lines and levels
- Strong relationship management and coaching skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop strategic solutions
- Preferred certification: CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)
