About the Role
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger, reconciliations, and accounts payable invoice posting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial close and financial reporting process, including journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations
- Assist with intercompany testing for system change requests and ensure accurate financial postings in accordance with US GAAP
- Monitor and analyze intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Record various fixed asset postings, including acquisitions, dispositions, and transfers
- Reconcile prepaid accounts and record related monthly amortization entries
- Update and monitor standard cost for all purchased and manufactured materials (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Record vendor invoices for payment and manage vendor and internal customer inquiries
- Support internal and external audit inquiries and complete special projects as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Almost 8 years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with good problem-solving and time management skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused
- Advanced knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing)
- SAP experience
