We are seeking a talented Financial Data Analyst to join our Ratings Operations & Controls organization.
This role involves working closely with ratings and support analysts to explain data, adjustments, and other information needed by the rating team for ratings and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and understanding financial statements, official statements, and other documents related to issuers' performance.
- Working directly with ratings and support analysts to explain data, adjustments, and other information needed by the rating team for ratings and research.
- Documenting and providing guidance to support analysts and outsourcers.
- Reviewing, adjusting, and publishing data to external market participants.
- Interacting with Moodys ratings analysts regarding financial and operational data needed for analysis and publications.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of financial documents analysis and accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel including pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Previous work experience is not required, but preferred.
- Prior experience in financial statements and accounting data analysis is a plus.
- Effective organizational, communicational, and interpersonal skills.
