Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyze weekly and monthly trends and reconciliations in partnership with manufacturing leaders and/or department management to develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets.

The selected candidate will analyze and interpret monthly financial results to identify financial issues, providing insights for internal departments. Additionally, they will prepare and process month-end journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, calculate, update, and assist with maintenance of product standard cost in the ERP system. They will also gather data and generate reports in support of manufacturing trend analysis and gather information to be used in presentations for management.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and at least 3 years of related experience. Experience working in a large manufacturing company is preferred.

Additional Skills:

The selected candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including consultative and relationship management skills. They should also have excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills. A good understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting processes and substantial knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to corporate accounting are required. Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles, expertise in own functional area, and ability to coach others in various functional areas impacted within the business are essential.
