Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales and Marketing efforts by performing a variety of administrative tasks, preparing sales-related documents, and promoting brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties to support Sales and Marketing, including filing, data entry, and preparing sales-related documents.
  • Prepare sales-related documents, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders, to support the sales process.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally through various means, including marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages, including brochures and promotional materials, to support sales efforts.
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information, including commissions, leads, and third-party data, in software involved in the sales process.
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, and room types.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them to respond to questions and requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • License or certification not required.
