Job Summary

Intel is seeking a highly skilled DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in helping Intel move faster on the most important and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and accelerate Intel's journey to becoming a software-first company.
  • Improve development team efficiency by leveraging CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance engineering velocity.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure environments through cross-technology administration, execution of scripting, and monitoring automations.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain cloud-based systems for Intel's customers using best practices processes and methodology.

Qualifications

You must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum or MSc in Computer Science or a similar degree program.
  • At least 3+ years of proven experience in DevOps/SRE working in the implementation of infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong Linux/windows experience.
  • Experience with cloud computing services (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of source versioning tools (GitHub and Terraform).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Jenkins and similar).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and managing microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience troubleshooting applications by debugging and reading log files.
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced English level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with release processes for deployments to different environments, including production.
  • Experience with security tools and practices such as vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • Certified in any public cloud services such as Azure (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AWS (DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances, the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
