Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Microelectronic Circuit Assembly

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Qorvo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of assembly processes for microelectronic circuits used in the manufacture of SAW and BAW, uBAW, SMT technology components.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain assembly processes for microelectronic circuits used in the manufacture of SAW and BAW, uBAW, SMT technology components.
- Provide technical support to production regarding the solution of various manufacturing problems.
- Maintain effective control over the process, ensuring the detection, analysis, and correction of possible defects in machines and the production process.
- Carry out activities for the development, characterization, and implementation of new processes and materials in production.
- Review process methods and techniques, modify and improve the process, and define the process and equipment requirements and specifications used in the manufacture and evaluation of SAW and BAW, uBAW, SMT devices.
- Review product requirements with the product and/or design department to ensure full compatibility with process procedures.
- Conduct experiments and compile and evaluate test data to appropriately determine limits and variables for process and material specifications.
- Recommend and prepare changes, additions, and modifications to achieve programs for process optimization, yield improvements, cost reduction, and improvements in the manufacturing process.
- Compile records and statistics of the process that contribute to a constant improvement in the process.
- Analyze problems inherent to the processes, instituting corrective measures and formulating procedures that ensure conformity with established norms.
- Prepare and maintain process specifications to ensure clarity on how products should be produced and evaluated.
- Cordinate with the quality department to implement and develop statistical process control programs.
- Participate in the introduction of new products to the process.
- Verify and implement all tests required for new products (pilot batches).
- Constantly verify the proper functioning of equipment and machinery of the process.
- Perform routine adjustments of equipment to guarantee its correct operation within normal parameters of the process.
- Perform operational controls on production equipment.
Requirements:
- University degree in a field related to electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electromechanical engineering.
- Advanced level of conversational English to communicate effectively with professionals from similar departments.
