Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microelectronic Circuit Process Engineer to join our team at Qorvo. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of assembly processes for microelectronic circuits used in the manufacture of SAW and BAW, uBAW, SMT technology components.

About the Role:

  • Oversight of the development, implementation and maintenance of assembly processes for microelectronic circuits
  • Provide technical support to production regarding the solution of various manufacturing problems
  • Maintain effective control over the process, ensuring the detection, analysis and correction of possible defects in the machines and the production process
  • Carry out activities for the development, characterization and implementation of new processes and materials in production
  • Review the process methods and techniques, modify and improve the process, and define the process and equipment requirements and specifications used in the manufacture and evaluation of SAW and BAW, uBAW, SMT devices
  • Review product requirements with the product and/or design department, to ensure full compatibility with process procedures
  • Conduct experiments and compile and evaluate test data to appropriately determine limits and variables for process and material specifications
  • Recommend and prepare changes, additions and modifications, with which to achieve programs for process optimization, yield improvements, cost reduction and improvements in the manufacturing process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Intermediate-advance level of English in writing, reading and conversational
  • Knowledge of Windows and Office Environment (spreadsheet, word processor, Outlook, among others)
  • At least 2 years of verifiable experience as a Process Engineer or similar position

Nature of the Position:

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to production and maintaining effective control over the process, ensuring the detection, analysis and correction of possible defects in the machines and the production process.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plan and paid time off.
