**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen.
This role will involve daily supervision of high-traffic equipment, identifying areas for improvement, visually inspecting tools and equipment, and recommending replacements as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and maintain high-traffic equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime
- Identify potential areas for improvement in infrastructure and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- Recommend replacement of faulty or outdated appliances, electronic devices, and equipment
- Report any serious maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and order parts and supplies as needed
- Assist in training mechanics and other department employees on equipment, policies, and procedures
