**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement new software applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with the software development team to design and develop highly scalable microservices and APIs on the AWS ecosystem.
- Contribute to code optimization and organization, recommending improvements to existing software programs.
- Work with cross-functional teams and service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
- Coach junior associates and associates in software development best practices.
- Independently manage complex projects, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 6-10 years of software development experience, with 3+ years of expertise in designing and developing microservices and APIs on AWS.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Experience with Java, Spring framework, and Spring Boot related technologies.
- Familiarity with REST API, microservices, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in SOLID design concepts, object-oriented design, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Iterative development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude and ability to interact with partners globally.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Git.
**Nice to Have Skills:**
- Databases (RDBMS/No SQL) and Couchbase knowledge.
- Cloud development experience with AWS.
- Payments domain knowledge.
- Regulatory reporting exposure.
