**Position Overview**
You will focus on improving performance and the platform integration of our database environment.
This includes building software to run the service at scale and software around databases, like monitoring and alerting tools, and evaluating new technologies for use with the Agiloft platform.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and improve our database implementations and database integration with the Agiloft software platform
- Research emerging trends for databases in enterprise
- and SaaS software, make recommendations for improvements to the existing database architecture and develop prototypes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps engineers to ensure we provide high-quality and performant infrastructure for our apps and ensure our product is scalable to support clients of any database size
**Required Qualifications**:
- Expert in RDBMS, especially MSSQL, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with document-oriented databases
- Working knowledge of vector databases
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Skilled with database clusters, replication, and high availability, tuning, and scalability
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for databases
- Fluent in Java
- Preferred: experience with J2EE, Tomcat, JBoss

- A keen interest to learn about new technologies
