Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Visual Designer to join our Amazon Ads Design, Concept & Production (DCP) Team. As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating brand-focused digital advertising that is displayed across Amazon sites, Amazon devices, and external sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design creative executions, including off-site banners, on-site banners, and Amazon-owned devices brand and ad placements, while maintaining high productivity, quality standards, and meeting turnaround time targets.
  • Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product specs, policies, and creative guidelines.
  • Optimize digital images for web, mobile, big screen, and other devices.
  • Propose user-centered designs by integrating style guides, creativity, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to evaluating the feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Help ensure quality control, while working closely with marketing stakeholders, design peers, and quality specialists.
  • Exhibit an ability to follow creative lead as expected, and also contribute to pushing the creative envelope in a constructive, memorable way with the customer in mind.
  • Act as an expert for one or more design categories, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, as well as training and mentoring new employees.
  • Be able to incorporate an analytical and strategical thinking in a design role.

About the Team

The Amazon Ads DCP Team is a fast-paced environment that requires high adaptability. We are looking for a Visual Designer who can create design style guides, training content, or design templates, and has experience driving process improvements that have a measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of design experience.
  • Bachelor's or a higher degree in Visual Communications/Advertising Design/Graphic Design.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Mastery of the principles of design, color theory, typography, and graphics file creation optimized for digital media.
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising or shopping solutions.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties in a professional manner, maintaining effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional computer skills using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), other graphic programs, and Microsoft Office.
