Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our team at Amazon Prime Video. As a key member of our Global Production Studio, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual designs that meet the needs of our business and exceed our customers' expectations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of work that showcases their ability to design clean, digital-ready designs based on existing style guides and brand guidelines. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop executions for web, digital, and offline marketing activities
  • Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product/project guidelines
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and contribute with innovation
  • Present work to team and key stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval
  • Create best-in-class layouts and visuals that support and reinforce business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging marketing/branding trends and digital innovations into creative and marketing strategies
  • Optimize digital images for web, mobile, big screen, and other devices
  • Fulfill multiple projects requests while simultaneously meeting tight deadlines
  • Illustrate a command of design methods, tools, communication, and presentation skills
  • Act as an expert for other designers, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, as well as training and mentoring new employees
  • Participate in hiring process by reviewing resumes, assessments, phone screens, and interviews
  • Deliver training
  • Participate in global initiatives to improve creative standards and internal processes in order to guarantee only the highest standards of customer experience and graphic execution are delivered to our customers
  • Provide and manage design documentation and specifications

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a designer in a creative agency or similar creative production environment
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field or an equally strong and relevant portfolio of work
  • English, written and spoken (B2 minimum)
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external stakeholders in a professional manner, maintaining effective written and oral skills
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with these tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing
  • Demonstrated experience working with International/Global Brands
  • Able to deal with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business and user interaction priorities
  • Strong time management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge managing projects/process improvement initiatives
