Software Sustaining Test Engineer

The Software Sustaining Test Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing software systems, ensuring their viability and performance. This role focuses on diagnosing and fixing software issues, improving code quality, and implementing features to extend the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality and verifying business and user requirements are met.
- Create, execute automated test scripts.
- Debug and fix issues on the automated test scripts within its verification points.
- Debug and fix issues that may be related to the automation framework.
- Perform nightly Jenkins build, continuous monitoring of performance builds, and work closely with multiple scrum teams to resolve automation questions and analysis of test results.
- Ensure that tests have been conducted in accordance with written procedures.
- Document test results and write test reports.
- Record and track defects in a bug tracking system.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Testing for product quality required.
- Programming languages like Python and/or C++.
- Experience in test automation including design, developing, and execution of automated test scripts.
- Advance English level.
- Submit resume in English.
- A strong product quality and testing experience preferably in medical device domain or avionics industry.
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- A natural attention to detail and a penchant for organizing and documenting.
- A good learner who can master complex software and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
