Job Overview

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can provide technical leadership and contribute to the development of medium-scale projects. You will be responsible for leading engineering projects and tasks related to product support and sustaining engineering. This includes analyzing physical systems and designs using empirical, numerical, and experimental methods, identifying and mitigating design and product risks, and defining test methods and conducting testing of complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use empirical, numerical, and experimental methods to analyze physical systems and designs.
  • Identify and mitigate design and product risks.
  • Define test methods and conduct testing of complex mechanical systems.
  • Explore and understand the root cause of technical problems encountered.
  • Making critical judgments and decisions, documenting these decisions with supporting evidence.
  • Support pre-clinical and clinical testing of devices.
  • Support product complaint investigations or other production-related improvements.
  • Lead medium-scale product support programs with interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) + 3-5 years of relative experience or MS in Engineering + 3 years of relative experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the medical device industry.
  • Experience in project management or project leadership.
  • Advanced English language skills.
