About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients. Your expertise in Java, Scala, MongoDB, and Unit Testing will be invaluable in driving our projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using Java, Scala, and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality unit tests to ensure the reliability of our software solutions.
- Work closely with our DevOps team to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab and/or Jenkins.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Amazon Web Services and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Application Development.
- Strong technical and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and client-focused skills.
- Proficiency in Linux commands and familiarity with Agile Development tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Good to have: experience with Payments background and Agile Development tools.
