Business Intelligence Data Analyst

This role is part of the Business Solutions Unit (BSU) function, whose primary goal is to ensure timely completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) records. The team is responsible for developing and implementing standardized self-service reporting solutions, as well as providing and distributing ad-hoc metrics across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs and analyzes moderately complex reports to satisfy business requirements, including dashboard and data summaries using Microsoft Excel and Access;
- Reconciles data between multiple datasets;
- Translates raw data into easy-to-read formats for decision-makers, ensuring data is presented in an easily understandable way for non-technical viewers in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Uses broad discretion in developing solutions for business reporting issues;
- Influences decisions through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others throughout the use of reports or customized views;
- Performs complex data analysis in various datasets and ensures data quality controls are in place;
- Eliminates waste and non-value-add activities by leading process automation efforts;
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required;
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar;
- Processing, analyzing, and predicting data and handling a variety of data sources using statistical models;
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SharePoint;
- Experience with process automation solutions via scripting languages (VBA/JavaScript);
- Design, develop, and implement solutions that solve real-life business problems using technical and business acumen in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or SharePoint;
- Strong written and oral communication skills and proven ability to lead and facilitate client discussions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes;
- Methodical approach to complex tasks with clear focus on tangible outcomes and objectives;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex workloads;
