About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Sr. Associate to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our Global Trade department, you will be responsible for analyzing product import documentation and flagging hazardous risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product import documentation and flag hazardous risks.
- Classify products from the Amazon Catalog by assigning HTS and/or ECN codes with minimal guidance.
- Train on multiple processes to ensure product information and legislative documentation are accurately completed.
- Identify improvements for operational outcomes, such as process or tool gaps, perform team quality cross-checks and share best practices that increase team quality output.
- Seek support from your manager and Process Experts if deviation from standard SOPs is warranted.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration and Foreign Trade Management or related field.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Customer Service and/or Back-Office corporate environments.
- B1 English proficiency or higher.
- Experience in peer coaching, mentoring, and/or training.
