**Job Overview**: We are seeking a skilled Development & Communications Assistant to support our Latin America programs and Pacuare Reserve's communications initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing development strategies, managing communications, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Assist in grant research and create a database of potential funders for Latin America programs
  • Create and send thank-you notes to sponsors in Latin America programs
  • Support donor reporting and crowdfunding campaigns for Latin America programs
  • Promote development campaigns to alumni, partners, and allies
  • Actively search for in-kind and cash donations and sponsorships for Latin America programs

**Pacuare Reserve Communication Tasks**:

  • Support content management and updates of website
  • Responsible for social media content creation and monitoring news outlets for EPI-related coverage
  • Maintain an organized filing system of photos and videos of Pacuare Reserve
  • Obtain testimonials from Research assistants, visitors, and volunteers for content creation

**Qualifications**:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Communications or Marketing
  • 1 year experience in similar positions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
