AWS Sales Lead

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and talented sales professional to lead our Central America Telco segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning, operating, and defining the go-to-market strategy for a named set of accounts within this region.
This role requires a deep understanding of the telco industry and experience selling complex cloud solutions to C-level executives. You will manage a group of Telco Enterprise accounts, targeted for high growth, with complex infrastructure requirements. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in our largest and fastest-growing Telco accounts.
You will influence customers to build, shape, and accelerate their AWS business. This role can be based in Costa Rica or Puerto Rico and offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse and innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a customer-obsessed business that delights our customers
- Affiliate your skills with a comprehensive GTM Strategy to achieve customer outcomes
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Drive market share while achieving/exceeding revenue and non-revenue goals
- Demonstrate a history of executing complex deals
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS Services
- Leverage relationships with internal stakeholders to further adoption of AWS services in your customer base
- Develop and work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
Requirements:
- A background in engineering, computer science, or business administration
- Telco Industry Knowledge and Experience selling in an Industry Specific GTM motion
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent, MBA or MS degree a plus
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a technology company
- 5-10+ years of quota carrying experience in technology-related sales, business development
- Proven Business and Technical Acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- History of outcome-based executive engagement
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations
