Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams across Intel to identify potential enhancements, guide teams towards industry best practices, and facilitate Intel's transition to a software-first organization.
  • Enhance the efficiency of development teams by utilizing CI/CD tools for the automation of testing and deployment processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for addressing customer requirements, offering insights and recommendations to boost engineering productivity.
  • Provide suggestions on specific aspects of Build and Deployment while continuously seeking improvements in processes and productivity through technological advancements.
  • Oversee the management of the cloud infrastructure environment through cross-technology administration, scripting execution, and monitoring automation.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain cloud-based systems for Intel's clientele, adhering to best practices and methodologies. This includes responsibility for issue resolution, request fulfillment, and capacity planning of cloud solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs within designated timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are additional factors that enhance the profile of top candidates.

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in:
    • DevOps/SRE roles focusing on the implementation of Infrastructure Solutions.
    • Strong proficiency in Linux/Windows environments.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of source versioning tools like GitHub and Terraform.
    • Experience with configuration management tools, including Jenkins and similar technologies.
    • Proven experience in developing, deploying, and managing microservices architectures.
    • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
    • Ability to troubleshoot applications through debugging and log file analysis.
    • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, including the integration of security within CI/CD pipelines.
    • Advanced proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with release processes for deployments across various environments, including production.
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices, such as vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • Certification in public cloud services, such as Azure (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or AWS (DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
