Job Overview

The Manufacturing Line Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Production Supervisor to ensure seamless production operations at Nevro. This position is responsible for overseeing all facets of the designated area, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel, materials, time, and equipment while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing the production line to fulfill scheduled work orders efficiently.
  • Developing work schedules and delegating tasks to team members on the production line.
  • Guaranteeing timely completion of work orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Identifying and addressing production line challenges promptly with the support of the Production Supervisor.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure timely order fulfillment (e.g., coordinating material requests with the warehouse).
  • Upholding compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and operational work environment.
  • Supporting and managing team members to help them perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Coordinating training initiatives with the guidance of the Supervisor.
  • Managing storage areas within the assigned zone, ensuring alignment with system requirements for materials.
  • Serving as a positive role model for team members.
  • Enhancing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality metrics.
  • Conducting recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management, order tracking, and performance indicators.
  • Transferring data from physical formats into digital systems and generating reports as necessary.
  • Overseeing picking and kitting processes to support manufacturing work orders accurately and promptly.
  • Executing transactions within the ERP system.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a 9th-grade diploma; high school diploma preferred.
  • Initiating a Technical Diploma or possessing an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IPC-A-610 certification is advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of experience in production environments within the medical industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes in ERP software, preferably QAD.
  • Previous experience in team leadership is preferred.
  • Experience in leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.

  • Proficient in multitasking, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and OSHA requirements is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 15 Kg (35 lb).
