About the Role:

Firmex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge front-end applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable front-end code and libraries to improve development efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement design patterns to ensure code reusability.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Optimize application performance and user experience by applying best practices and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommend new tools and methodologies to improve development efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, including client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient understanding of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Good understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
  • A passion for Agile methodology and the ability to think outside the box.
  • A curious nature and a desire to learn and grow with the company.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
