As an Ops Accounting Analyst 1, you will apply in-depth knowledge of technical and professional principles to achieve team objectives. You will understand how assigned duties contribute to the work of the team/unit and coordinate efforts to achieve organizational goals. Ensuring high-quality results for self and others is essential, as well as recommending options to enhance productivity within established guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex accounting functions related to business analysis, invoice regularization, surplus recovery, and vendor communication.
- Resolve financial reporting and fiscal/tax issues, among others.
- Train new hires or team members and provide guidance to lower-level employees.
- Manage workflow and interact with other departments.
- Makes decisions within established guidelines, utilizing latitude to decide on appropriate actions to resolve issues where precedence has been established.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, external customers, and/or clients.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in an Accounts payable end-to-end process.
- Basic knowledge of accounting processes, including assets, liabilities, capital, income, expenses, and the basic accounting equation.
- Understanding of systems used in the organization for executing invoice processing, UAT, certificates, etc.
- Intermediate/Advance level of P2P Oracle system knowledge for obtaining required information and reports.
- Effective communication in English (reading, writing, verbal) at an intermediate/advance level for fluid interaction with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of reported cases to establish resolution plans, using prioritization criteria and a sense of urgency based on criticality.
