At Moody's, we are seeking a talented Senior Financial Planner to join our team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial analytics and process optimization across all segments of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of financial planning and analysis processes, projects, and ad-hoc requests as required by the Finance organization.
- Develop and maintain global templates and models, including the use of macros or BI tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to foster good working relationships and drive standardization of activities.
- Contribute to project planning and project status activities, including managing timelines and communicating project status.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or other business discipline.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant financial experience with FP&A, Accounting, Auditing and reporting processes is preferred.
- Detail and data quality oriented and capable to summarize and communicate findings/analysis.
- Excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in using Business Intelligence tools and project management methodologies.
