Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled EHS Supervisor to lead our Environmental Health and Safety programs in Costa Rica. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in safeguarding our people and environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing critical EHS programs that keep our employees safe and minimize our environmental impact. You will have a direct impact on building a balanced and responsible future for our company.

  • Ensure the workplace adheres to all applicable laws and J&J standards
  • Lead all aspects of permitting processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrences
  • Develop and maintain safety programs and procedures for design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness stages

Key Responsibilities

* Provide EHS training and orientation for employees and contractors

* Encourage a safe work culture through communication and awareness programs

* Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs across departments within the business unit

* Oversee emergency response planning and preparedness

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or higher in EHS Engineering from an accredited university

* 6+ years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety

* 4+ years of manufacturing and/or plant experience

* Strong communication & interpersonal skills

* ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experience
