As an SAP Technical Delivery Manager at Emerson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems across the organization. This includes overseeing the delivery of technical activities related to hardware, software, upgrades, security vulnerabilities, and patching.

To succeed in this position, you will need to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors and other stakeholders. Your goal will be to ensure timely resolution of issues, achieve service level agreements, and drive continuous improvement of SAP support processes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT management and support, with a focus on SAP ECC and project management. Knowledge of EAI concepts, tools, and integration, as well as backup and recovery tools processes and procedures, is highly desirable.

Your responsibilities will include developing and providing regular reports on key metrics, creating downtime tracking systems that meet Emerson's standards, and preparing quarterly reviews of key performance indicators. You will also be responsible for recommending and driving ongoing improvements in SAP landscapes and SAP delivery service processes.

About the Role:

  • Schedule and communicate SAP system upgrades, patches, and security vulnerability maintenance plans
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on key metrics for management and stakeholders
  • Create and maintain downtime tracking systems for SAP landscapes
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of key performance indicators
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in SAP landscapes and delivery service processes
