Discrepancy Resolving Collector

Auxis is a dynamic business process outsourcing provider that partners with leading healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Appeal Discrepancy Collector. This role involves researching and resolving Underpayments to ensure accurate payments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review and validate discrepancy reason coding of underpayment inventory
- Pursue additional payment from payers through various communication channels
- Resolve objections to ensure timely payment of claims
- Build relationships with payers to gain commitment for payment
- Identify and communicate trends to management as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to correct non-payment related underpayment discrepancies
- Escalate complex cases to relevant parties
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation
- Meet performance and quality targets
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in Customer Service roles
