The Associate Sourcing position, located in San José, Costa Rica, is an entry-level opportunity for enthusiastic and innovative individuals eager to grow and develop in this field. Essential skills include a quick learning ability, a passion for challenges, teamwork, analytical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication, and a strong sense of ownership and follow-up. A client-focused mindset and relationship management skills are crucial. While prior sourcing experience is beneficial, it can be cultivated within this role. Responsibilities

  • Support business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and clients to design tailored procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Engage in planning, preparation, and recommendation processes for action plans, assisting clients in their implementation.
  • Analyze client expenditure data and produce project deliverables.
  • Comprehend and interpret client requirements to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Partner with senior management to create sales tools for key clients.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to enhance awareness of our services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record as a motivated team player capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous; English proficiency is required.

Additional Skills

  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency, able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and sourcing/supply chain concepts.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to present persuasive arguments.
  • Negotiation skills, including the development of eAuction strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
