About the Role:
The Junior Operating Systems Specialist will be responsible for administering and supporting client operating system environments according to best practices, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security, backup, and redundancy with systems according to predefined standards
- React to events to ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
- Manage alerts for services of Microsoft Windows Server OS, such as DHCP, DNS, AD, and CA
- Understand alerts for operating system issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and other basic systems management tasks
Requirements:
- English - Spanish Language (Oral and writing 85 % or higher), (B2+ or above)
- Computer Science work experience
- Basic knowledge of ITIL framework
- Basic understanding in infrastructure operations management, backup, antivirus, and patching
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory services
- Familiar with cloud computing concepts and basic operations
- Basic windows server administration with basic knowledge of networking infrastructure
